Sterlingheart paced around. Stupid punishment... at least I'll get to hang out with Rainpaw though. Just the thoguht sent a flicker of a smile to his lips. He quickly shook his head and started to groom himself. Thought of the punishment came and went. Every single herb. My goodness, this will be some challenge. He looked up and waited for Rainpaw.

ic// Rainpaw finished saying goodbye to her foster mother before making her way out of the Windclan camp entrance before bounding her way towards Sterlingheart. This punishment was certainly unusual - unusual and insane. Every herb.. Just the thought of it made Rainpaw go 'huh' in her mind. The small tailless cat skidded to a halt in front of Sterlingheart, dust particles flying up into the air before she remembered what she needed to tell him; something she knew she should have told him before now. Her eyes went from the ground to back up at him before taking a deep breath and letting out a rather quiet mew: "Erm, Sterlingheart.. There's something I need to tell you.." she meowed uneasily, seeming to take a small step backwards, getting ready to make a run for it if he decided to pounce on her after this, "But you have to promise you won't kill me, alright? Promise?" she added quickly, tail seeming to rise nervously.
She had tried to tell him as soon as they were dismissed from Stagstars den but he had left her to go prepare to leave, so it wasn't completely her fault, right? Though, the thought of what he could do to her all alone out her made her a little worried for the first time in a long time. What if they could never return to Windclan? What then? Gah, she didn't want to think about it. Just the idea of it gave her a headache. She sighed deeply to herself, breathing in the last of what could be Windclans' familiar scents in a long time. She blinked quickly, patiently waiting to make sure he promised he wouldn't hurt her after she let out what needed to be said.

Sterlingheart cocked his head to the side. "Yeah, sure. Anything." He gave her a reasuring smile and lightly flicked his tair across her shoulder. Confusion seemed to engulf his mind. What was his friend up to? He thought of the possiblilities. Well, she may want to run away; the thought made him sad already. She could betray Starclan..... yeah, no. Maybe she didn't want to return to Windclan. But why? The punishment wasn't that bad. He was utterly confused. As he gazed at his friend he couldn't help but feel a little shivver run down his spine. He blinked it away thinking it was nothing. But each glance in her eyes sent another thrill through his body, making his fur tingle. Woh.... that was weird... Huh, she has nice eyes. What the... shutup Sterlingheart. He shook his head to clear his mind. "No matter what Rainpaw, I could never hate you. None the less kill you. I swear I won't be mad, or upset in any way." He gave her another reassuring smile.

ic// Rainpaw looked at him closely, studying his face. She had faith in Sterlingheart and knew that he probably would never hurt her unless by accident, right? The small she-cat nodded, taking a deep breath before letting it all spill out: "I don't know any herbs~!" she said quickly, shutting her eyes tightly, "I'm sorry! She tried to teach me, she really did but I never listened and.." She looked back up at him, claws digging into the ground while her eyes clouded over with sadness. Right now, she could feel every hair on her pelt stand on end, waiting silently for his reply. Her stomach began to flip and she looked away again, mix matched eyes looking at the ground guiltily: "Please don't hate me.. Its all my fault."
She remembered as clear as day the time her mentor had tried to teach her all of the herbs but she didn't listen and always ran off to do her own thing; never listening. She already knew she wasn't a good medicine cat, the rest of the Clan members had already said that about her, but if Sterlingheart said that to her .. She wasn't sure she could take it.
