Talonstar padded on, coming back from the Moonstone and getting his nine lives, he was almost at camp went he scented a cat near-by. Straight away he knew it was not of his clan and with further review, was not of any clan. She smelled of she-cat and was somewhere close. The tuxedo tom dropped down in a flash into a belly-to-the-ground crouch and stared around, keeping his senses sharp and alert for any sign of life.
His mind was blank and focused on locating the intruder. She was so close to the camp, he would not let her pass! He couldn't scent any other cats, but that wouldn't mean that they weren't there, somewhere in the down-wind. The tired leader wanted to just go home and into his den to rest, he wanted to eat, for he hadn't for a whole sun, he wanted to relax and get back to his life, but he couldn't, not right now. He had to find the intruder.

You clumsy buffoon! Have you learned nothing? Can you not hunt anymore! Hush, I heard someone. The voices went silent. A small black she-cat glanced around warily. She'd been hunting, on a land she figured wasn't used. Though it smelled strongly of Thunderclan. A wanderer at heart, she'd gone into the lands deeper then usual. The cat smelled familiar, but no name came to her. It smelled like a scent by the Thunderpath. She crouched low again, after sitting up abruptly. Her tattered ears twitching cautiously. She stepped forth, her breath becomingly increasingly fast. Her head poked out of a clump of leaves. Gray nose flaring to smell the air. But she couldn't smell it anymore. Foolish kit, can't you understand stale scents? It was fresh. Sol hissed silently.
"Come out, come out kitty..."
She taunted harshly. Letting Eralos[Era-loss] speak for her. Sol's dead tail trailed lifelessly behind her. Her green eye locked onto an area she thought he might be. Sol's right eye trailed casually away from her face. Staring downward at the grass.

-A rustle-
-A taunt-
The cat was closer than he had expected and he didn't move, barely daring to breathe.
"HHEEEEESKSKSKSKSKS!!!"
He let out a long, rage-filled, savage hiss. Birds flocked and rustling sounded everywhere around him as prey scattered for fox-lengths, running from the predator that had sounded it's rage. Not even the mice were stupid enough to stick around he noticed as the streaked out of holes and trees in lines in any random direction, as long as it wasn't toward him.
Talonstar sprung up the nearest tree onto to an over looking branch in a single, quiet bound, landing with no sound as his soft, pink pads soaked in the recoil. His piercing yellow eyes searched around for any sign of movement, and at least now he knew that there would be no false accusation0n because he had scared away all of the prey. Also he might have scared of the intruder, which was his original plan but with his new gifts from Starclan, he was able to think further into a plan and make it work out well. But he did know that he'd still need some practice doing that considering he had just received them not a half a sun ago.

She stayed still, unafraid of the cat. She thought him rather a funny thing. Thinking he could scare her away with such a pathetic battle cry. She was having fun with this cat. His 'threatening' cry was just a sign he was scared. Sol walked carelessly into the open. Her green eye searching the lands. Relying only on sight, her nose was crusted, her ears just sucked and she couldn't very well feel his pawsteps.
"I see the big bad kitty cat is afraid"
She mocked in Eralos' voice. Searching the ground for the cat. Not even thinking he'd be in the trees.

Talonstar was frustrated with the cat, but then a calm security and self-assurance feel over him as he felt his ancestors' power behold him. He tucked all four of his paws under him and made sure that his belly could not be seen, then he hid his tail-tip under his-self, and for a finally touch, folded his ears down. By doing all of the proceeding, he concealed all of his white attributes leaving only his black fur, making him almost invisible in the dense woodland.
He let out a hinting chuckle and smiled down at the she-cat wondering around in search of him. "You know, just in case you were wondering, that was a warning call. It means ya might wanna run. The mice even got that picture, so I guess I can't really call you a mouse-brain..." he meowed with a fake wonder. He changed the levels and tones of his voice as he spoke to keep his where-a-bouts hidden by making it seem he was close and far away and coming from different directions.
Now he was the taunting one and he had complete power over her. His new powers came in handy, but he knew he was still probably gonna fight the she-cat. She had spunk and attitude and didn't seem like the kind to back down easily and go running home with her tail between her legs.
