Personality: Shadestar can be rather snippy sometimes....if you get on her bad side. She has quite a bit of patience though, so getting to this side can be quite difficult. Sometimes, though, this patience wears thin and she'll end up snapping at you...give her a few moments to cool off and she'll apologize. She's very curageous and would go to unimaginable lengths for her clan, though she can be hostile towards outsiders, such as rogues and some loners. She believes firmly in good justice and fairness. Shadestar has a bit of a soft spot for her whole clan; she'd readily give her life for you. She has a very firm attitude, so once she makes up her mind and decides something...there's no changing that. Unless you have a VERY good reason. She has a very level head on her shoulders in a battle, so she usually always keeps her calm. She always puts her clan before herself.

General Appearance: Shadestar's fur is a light silver color, with black spots spread across her body. She has a very lithe, wirey, and agile appearance, and indeed she is. Her ears are a tad large...not so large they're unnatural...in fact, large isn't the best word. They're wide, black on the outside with a bit of a white tip. Her legs start out as silver by her chest, but get to be a deeper gray by her paws. Her tail is long and thick, wrapping easily around her legs. Black rings, like a raccoon's, wrap themselves around her tail, to the point where the tip is black. She has two black stripes starting at her "eyebrow" points above her eyes, which flow down over her head and eventually fade to lighter gray by her shoulders. Her eyes are a muddy brown, but they're deep...it's as if you could stare into them and find something hidden. She has black "tears" running from the corner of her eyes, which are actually just black stripes. Same on her outer corner of her eyes.

History: Nothing really exciting....Shadestar was born in Shadowclan, but her mother died giving birth. She was the last born of only four kits; a bit of a small litter. She was also different...her pelt and attitude different from her black and gray tabby brothers. She was also the smallest...her siblings being a bit larger physically than her. But after a while, her attitude began to grow, starting to make up for her small stature. One day, after she was made an apprentice, she decided to go exploring. Not quite smart, not without her mentor. She came across a large river, (past the clan boundaries, I might add) which was running swiftly after the fresh spring rains. Curious, just to dip her paw into the running water, to see what it was like, she readied her legs and she lept to a rock that was quite a ways out...............and missed.
The rock, having been slippery from the wet, had no grip. Young Shadestar's claws slipped, the fast waves knocking her into the cold waters. Fear got it's icy claws on her...she couldn't move. Usually she was always calm headed in a sticky situation...though her sticky situations were nothing like this. She started struggling against the current, trying hard not to let her head go under. Yes! The shore! It was only a few fox lengths away!
But she was getting so tired and the water was cold....she couldn't move her limbs properly. Suddenly though, a tree seemed to have popped out of nowhere, giving her a bit of a lever to hold onto. She scrambled to grab onto a branch, clinging perilously to it. Eventually being able to drag herself out of the water, she walked stiffly back towards the camp.
She never spoke of this; this is the reason she has such a fear of large rivers and bodies of water. Soon, she became a warrior. The previous deputy had become ill during the winter. Watching as her good friend began to slip away, Shadestar became quite angry with everyone around her. She became bitter, closing everyone off. Though, after the deputy died, she was surprised when she became the deputy of the clan. She then made it her goal in life to serve the clan right.
Rping Sample: Ah, another bright, sunny day. Beautiful. Shadepaw stepped out of her apprentice den, inhaling the crisp air deeply. Mmm....it was a tad chilly though. She shiffered and shook herself off, glancing around the camp. A few cats here and there, but not too many. Must be early, still. Silently slinking out of camp, she decided she was going to explore.
And explore she would.
Being careful to be extra sneaky, Shadepaw slipped out of the camp. Relieved to be free, she started moving at a brisk pace, her small legs moving quickly through the thick grass, her legs getting damp with the morning dew. She stopped and sniffed...clan boundaries. Crouching low, Shadepaw let her eyes scan the land, then she sniffed...no other cats around, yes! Standing up, she bounded across, her ears picking up the sound of a babbling stream. She started running towards it quickly, curious to see.
Oh. BIG babbling stream. She inched closer, cautious. I wonder what it would feel like to just stick my paw in the current... She wondered to herself, then she spotted a large, wet rock jutting out of the foamy waters surface.
It looked within jumping distance...was it? Judging her distance, the foolish young Shadepaw coiled her muscles, breathing deep.
She leapt, feeling like everything was frozen in place for a split second. Then...BANG! She landed, but the rock was slippery. Frantic, Shadepaw began scratching at the rock with her claws, trying to get a grip...then...she was in the river. Mewing, Shadepaw thrashed around, making herself tired. Why were things starting to get so hard...she felt her lids drooping, as she began to slip under.
NO! She would NOT die. She WOULD live and become a warrior.
THUNK! "OW!" Shadepaw exlaimed, her body floating and bumping against a big black object. She frowned tiredly. "Whassat?" She mumbled, then gasped. A liferaft! Kind of. She struggled madly, grasping and scratching at the poor fallen tree as if it were her enemy. She grunted with effort, pulling her sopping wet body out of the water.
Saved at last....
Side: Against them. Shadestar doesn't believe the clans should become one...why should they? The clans had ALWAYS been four...four seasons, four clans.There's no reason to become all one clan...it would only create turmoil with all the leaders, all trying to lead at the same time. No point to it.
Other: If it's ok for me to be the leader of Shadowclan, yay ^^ I wasn't quite sure if you had the position reserved or not, so if it IS reserved, just lemme know and I'll change some of the stuff
